While I was out for a drive, a glint of red by the side of the road caught my eye. I pulled over out of sheer curiosity.
It was a four-wheeled all terrain vehicle!!! My heart went pitter-patter as I read the sign.
"FREE TO GOOD HOME"
It was almost too good to be true. I turned the key, and to my delight, the engine roared to life! I went up to the house and knocked on the door. No answer. Since no one was home, I decided I would be the new caretaker of this lonely little four-wheeler. With a little elbow grease, this mud-covered mess could look as good as new!
You know what they say: there is no time like the present. So I rolled up my sleeves, pinned my hair back, and got to work. I found two buckets and a sponge in the van.
With determination and a lot of warm soapy water, I began scrubbing away at the various layers of dirt.
I sang as I worked.
"Scrub-adee doo da, scruba-dee day! Me, oh my, what a wonderful day!"
Two buckets of water later. . . this thing looked brand new! The gorgeous red paint gleamed in the sunshine. I was rather proud of all my hard work.
Now let's see what this baby can do!
They don't call this an all terrain vehicle for nothing!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!
Looks like I just found myself a new set of wheels. This is awesome! Can't stop and chat now. I have some exploring to do!
Until next time,
Cheerioooooooooooo!

DeleteI am so jealous! Do you realize how difficult it is to find a decent set of wheels for puki's our size?!?! Well, I *do* have a Volkswagen convertable. But still!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe that someone was just throwing this vehicle away? I bet you have fun driving your VW! At least you can carry a passenger!
DeleteHi Isabelle, I'm a friend of Miranda. You have a very interesting blog. I'm enjoying reading. I love those wheels!
