Grand Opening Party (Part 2)

What a day! Everything turned out beautifully. I have to give thanks to Kinsey, she really knows how to organize a party.
Some of the first dolls to arrive were Mr and Mrs Auburn, followed by Bessie and Pastor Brown.
Mr Auburn said that he was very interested in doing business with me as he had been told that I was an expert property manager. (Kinsey needs an extra bonus for spreading this kind of publicity!)
Kinsey welcomed Mr and Mrs Red. It turns out that Mr Red is in the construction business and wondered if we might need his services. As it turns out, Kinsey needs a contractor to look over the renovation process on her house, so they organized an inspection sometime in the next few weeks.
I met another interesting couple, Mr and Mrs White. They retired about a year ago, but really miss running and operating a business. We set up an appointment to look at some potential properties.
I couldn't believe it, but Mr Arthur turned up as well! So much for the low profile, but I guess everyone needs company at some point. Luka made an appearance, and was a big help to Mr Crumble making sure that the food trays never ran out. Somehow I think Luka had his eye on all the chocolate goodies!
Everyone seemed to be having a really good time and lots of laughter and chatter could be heard coming from upstairs.

Just as I was about to head upstairs to join in the festivities, a group of very well dressed ladies entered the office.
Apparently they had heard that the Tiny community is growing and these ladies want to be part of it. They were all talking to me about possibly setting up a boutique, hair salon and a bistro. I was beginning to feel rather excited at everyone's enthusiasm. How fun it would be to really have all these businesses here in Oak Leaf!
I made appointments to see them all as well.
As the ladies proceeded upstairs for some refreshments, Dr Natalie came down as she also wanted  to set up a meeting time. She said that she would love to have her own practice right here in town and would like to look for something really soon.
Dr Natalie is quite interested in finding an old Victorian home and renovating it into a doctor's office.
By the end of the day I was exhausted! I had met so many wonderful dolls, and had set up so many appointments that my calendar is now filled well into the new year!
Kinsey is worth her weight in gold1 She is definitely the best assistant anyone could have. She is a perfect host and the party was a huge success due to her hard work.
As I predicted quite a while ago, Oak Leaf will become a booming town and the place to live!

Cheerio,
Isabelle

  11. Hi Isabelle! Wow, What a Great Party!!! I knew that you would be the talk of the town, seeing how naturally kind and caring you are towards your clients. Hey, whatever happened to the 2 over-sized moving guys that helped you with the piano? Probably best they didn't show up because they would have had to stay down stairs anyway. I think that climbing the stairs on their knees would have been too much even for that delicious spread of food by Mr. Crumble. ( I am still giggling over that post! ) Nevertheless, it seems Your Party is a Smash Hit in the tiny town of Oak Leaf!
Happy New Year Isabelle and Company! :D
