A Knock At The Door

Mr Arthur and I had an appointment today to look at some vacant properties. However, he called to cancel our plans as he had an emergency, and had to meet with his publisher.  Consequently, Kinsey and I decided that we were going to stay home and have a lazy pajama day.
That is when we heard a knock at the door. The question then is, should you answer it or ignore it? Luckily, I chose to answer it.
It is not everyday that you open the door and see two sets of muscular calves as big as tree trunks standing before you!
It turns out that it was the boys who helped move my office furniture. They told me that they had come across an old piano and was wondering if I wanted it.
Upon hearing the word "piano", Kinsey came running to the door.
"Hello, did I hear correctly? You have a piano?" Kinsey inquired.
"Yes, you heard correctly," the redhead clarified. Kinsey became very animated and was literally hopping up and down with excitement. "Oh yes, yes, YES! I WANT IT! I mean – Isabelle wants a piano!"
I have never seen Kinsey so excited about something. She told them to bring it in. I don't think I even said a word, but just stood back in amazement while Kinsey rearranged my house and gave directions!
The boys moved the heavy object with ease and put it in place without a scratch.
Kinsey thanked the boys and spent the afternoon cleaning and polishing the piano. Apparently she learned to play from a young age, and her doll-hood dream was to become a famous music teacher.
Kinsey played all afternoon. The living room was filled with the most wonderful melodies. It was incredible to watch her fingers dance around on the keyboard.
I'm telling you, this doll has wonderful talent! I hope that one day she fulfills her dream.

Cheerio,
Isabelle

  2. Oooh, super hunky guys! And congratulations to Kinsey on her awesome piano! Music teachers are pretty awesome. Anything that helps other people appreciate music and discover the musician in them is pretty cool. Good for Kinsey for wanting to do that! The world needs more music teachers. I hope she goes for it!

  3. Hello Isabelle! This entry had me laughing out loud! The sight of those two guys moving a PIANO while on their knees was just hysterical! How do they manage without Knee Pads, I wonder!!!? They must really get paid a LOT or else this is a job with great medical benefits!
Anyway, I wish that there was audio so that I too could listen to Kinsey playing. How thrilling! I love piano , I 'm just happy to never have to move one!

    1. I wish you could hear Kinsey play as well. Those guys love to move furniture for the smaller dolls. They say that it weighs very little in comparison to the Barbie sized furniture they sometimes have to move.
