The Old is Made New Again!

I needed some seating for my home, but I had been having a very hard time finding something that was not floral. Finally I found a couple of secondhand couches that were very comfortable and inexpensive. Although the fabric was rather hideous, I purchased the couches anyway, and sent them out to be changed.
This is before reupholstering. (Not sure who would find this attractive!)
Starting to look much better!

This is what they look like now, and my, what a difference! I love them!
 See, good durable fabric!
But the real test of a couch is its comfiness and this one passes with flying colors.

Cheerio,
Isabelle

  1. Hello Isabelle! I just love what you have done with the furniture! You have picked out a great fabric that should stand the test of time. I am not a big fan of the Before fabric either, but I really like the After! It will wear well too and it is good if you accidentally spill something on it from one of Mr. Crumble's yummy meals. The finished pieces are perfect for your little house and now all you need are some cushions! Enjoy stretching out on it!

  2. Hello Isabelle, hello Sam,
Terrific job reupholstering the sofas. You chose a gorgeous fabric and you did great work. The lines of the couch are perfect. It looks very posh.

  5. Very nicely done - they look much more elegant now. (The "before" fabric actually didn't look too bad from a distance, but up close - yikes.)

  6. Wow, what a great idea! They really do look good and as many times as I have bought tiny chairs, I never really did think of just redoing them - Great idea and Well Done!
